Standard on every Waybound holiday, in every destination, with no exceptions.

Considered Accommodation

Hotels and stays chosen for character and location, not simply for convenience along the route.

Denmark or Portugal are ideal for first-timers. Both offer flat or gentle terrain, easy navigation, and well-spaced accommodation. The daily distances are manageable and the route notes handle the planning, so you can focus on the experience.
Yes. Several routes can be linked across borders, particularly in the Alps (France, Italy, Switzerland) or Iberia (Spain, Portugal). Get in touch and we'll help plan a multi-country itinerary that works logistically.
May to September suits most destinations. Southern Europe (Greece, Portugal, Spain) extends into October. Alpine routes open from June once passes clear. June and September typically offer the best combination of good weather and quieter trails.
Yes, on every route, as standard. Leave your main bag at reception each morning and it's collected and delivered to your next hotel while you're on the trail. No exceptions, no add-on fees.
Walking holidays suit travellers who want to move slowly through landscapes on foot, often on trails away from roads. Cycling holidays cover more ground each day and work well for river valleys and vineyard regions. Both include the same level of support.
Denmark, France (Loire Valley) and Portugal are our most popular family destinations. All offer shorter daily distances, gentler terrain and accommodation chosen with families in mind.
